Have you ever dreamed of catching a big wave on a surfboard? The FlowRider will give you the chance to “hang ten”—minus the long drive to the coast. Creating a simulated surfing wave powered by a jet engine, the FlowRider simultaneously suctions water from a surrounding pool and pushes it out at a rate of up to 40 miles per hour, allowing aspiring surfers a chance to tame the waves, either by body boarding or standing.
Be warned: This is wipeout territory. Definitely not for the faint of heart.
This ride is designed for guests at least 42 inches tall for body boarding and 48 inches tall for surfing. Riders must be in good physical condition and free from any physical limitations to participate.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: To ride the FlowRider, a waiver is required by the Manufacturer. To adhere to the Manufacturer’s policies, the Soaring Eagle Waterpark and Hotel meets the obligation by enforcing and complying with the manufacturer’s documentaton requirement. The waiver form needs to be signed by a parent or guardian for anyone 18 years of age or younger. Click the button below to download the waiver, fill it out, and bring it to the Waterpark with you on the day you visit.
Designed especially for our younger guests, Biish Falls, located in the center of the Waterpark, includes a giant bucket that dumps 317 gallons of water every time it tips. Watch out for big splashes! Several times each hour, the giant animatronic eagle mother calls to her baby, which is the signal that the bucket is about to tip.
This area also features four slides for guests shorter than 52 inches tall, including:
Get ready for 30 seconds of thrills, when you’re slipping and sliding through Loon's Loop.
This three-story slide is designed for 1 or 2 riders in inner tubes, which are available at the foot of the slide. Once you climb to the top with your tube in hand, you’ll hop on the slide and get whished through various twists and turns that loop outside the Waterpark at a rapid speed.
You are then spun through a 360-degree bowl once or twice before the slide drops you back down into the water, which flows into Little Beaver's Bend river.
Guests must be at least 48 inches tall and ride seated in an inner tube. Per manufacturer’s requirements, the Loon's Loop water slide has a weight capacity of 250 pounds.
Take a walk in the sunshine on a warm day and enjoy the beautifully landscaped Courtyard that is located between the two main wings of the Soaring Eagle Waterpark and Hotel.

Shoot some hoops with the added fun and challenge of being in the water at Gizi’s Splash and Dunk. A beaver holds the basketball hoop, inviting you to enjoy a splashy pick-up game.
Elevated next to this pool you’ll find a relaxing kidney-shaped hot tub.
Also nearby, hop on over to the acorn and log crossing, which puts your balancing skills to the test. Here you’ll hop from one floating acorn and log to the other with the aid of a net hanging overhead.
Lifejackets are required for guests shorter than 44 inches tall. Gizi’s Splash and Dunk is handicap accessible.
Our take on a lazy river is a scenic float on the 3-foot-deep river that runs the length of our beautiful Waterpark on an L-shaped curve.
Both the Loon’s Loop and Otter’s Run slides empty into this river. Grab an inner tube, lie back, and relax while you float through our “wooded” landscape. It’s reminiscent of a mountain retreat, and you can gaze at the Waterpark’s giant pine tree with an eagle’s nest that features an animatronic mother eagle and her baby.
This attraction also is ideal for parents with young children. Treat them to a float ride while you walk alongside.
Lifejackets are required for guests shorter than 44 inches tall.
This is not your typical rock-climbing wall. Makwa’s Mountain is harness-free, helmet-free, heart-pounding excitement.
Starting from our deepest pool, you’ll begin your ascent up this giant concrete wall that’s etched with plenty of cracks, crevices, and outcroppings to help you make the climb.
The “mountain” rises eight feet above the surrounding pool. Getting to the top is only part of the fun. From there it’s a free-fall plunge backwards into the 7-foot-deep pool.
Guests must be at least 48 inches tall and good swimmers to participate. Only one climber can participate at a time.
You can still enjoy the sun on a warm summer day at the Waterpark by taking advantage of our Sundeck.
Located just outside the Waterpark, the Sundeck features lounge chairs, tables, and umbrellas. It’s an ideal spot for lounging with a good book while enjoying some peace and quiet away from the kids. Seasonal Availability.
Who says the Waterpark is just for kids? We’ve got the adults covered, too—especially with our oversized kidney-shaped hot tub.
Elevated to give you a good vantage point to watch the kids while unwinding in the 103-degree water, the hot tub is located near Gizi’s Splash and Dunk.
With space for 28 people, there’s plenty of room for everyone, so come on in and relax. And don’t forget to visit our Sundeck.
